Born on May 13 1970, Angela was the fourth child
in a line up of nineteen children born to Philip Wells Brown and Gail
Crookston Brown.
Life as a child included gardening, raising animals, canning,
babysitting, home school, and family musical presentations at local
community organizations and churches.
As a child, Angela was very athletic, involved in swimming, gymnastics
and track and field. She later became a competitive triathlete and
marathon runner competing in such races as the Boston Marathon.
Angela attended one year of public high school (Alta High, Sandy Utah)
followed by a move to Charlotte, North Carolina where she spent a year
as a nanny. After a stint of professional child rearing, Angela
participated in a string of full and part time jobs including
Newspaper carrier, Pizza delivery, House Cleaning, Customer service
rep in a call center, Tradeshow sales, Barter broker, door-to-door
Water Filter sales, Auto sales, Event Planning, Receptionist at a
tanning salon, Restaurant Waiter, and Fleet agent at the airport.
With a plethora of job experience behind her, and
her background in competitive sports, she ventured into the world of
entrepreneurialism as an expert in the field of Wellness for
Commissioned Salespeople. “Words of Wellness” is a specialized program
Angela taught corporations worldwide, and is still known for.
During research for an article on emotions Angela
bumped into the world of acting, and found herself as an extra on the
set of a movie in the late fall of 2005. With a versatile background,
and the ability to morph easily into a new role, Angela suddenly found
herself with a string of independent film offers which jumpstarted an
entire new career for her in film and voice acting.
As a professional actor and writer Angela is
having the most fun she’s ever had – she is currently married to
Patrick Oberer and the couple lives in Charlotte NC.
